This two-day interdisciplinary workshop (9-10 June 2008) culminated my ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Geography at The Open University. It brought together scholars from across a range of disciplines to discuss and explore the cities-media interface, with an emphasis on practices and politics, as well as some specific (but not exclusive) attention to broadly ‘journalistic’ practices.
