For all you undergraduate and master’s students with interests in the intersections of media, cultural and urban studies, note that The University of Amsterdam is sending out a last call for applications for an intensive summer programme running from June 27 – July 10, 2010. The programme on Popular Culture and the City explores media, entertainment, popular culture, subcultures, the creative industry, and the music scene all through the lens of Amsterdam (one of my favourite cities).

The deadline for applications is tomorrow(!) May 15, 2010, but it sounds like the organisers are willing to be flexible if you are unable to submit all documents on time. Further details, including the application form, can be found at the course website.
